hey im sara
you know that gir costume u made
well can you tell me how you made it... cuz i looked everywhere for one and cant find it
thanks
:iconbrawni:
I used half inch thick foam by the yard to fill out the bulky parts. This makes it much lighter than stuffing it with fiberfill. the head's structure is kept with a box structure made of quarter inch kite spar on the inside. the eyes are a styrofoam ball I cut in half and then covered each half in fabric. there is a matching green mesh panel in the front of the head to see thru. the work on this was labor intensive but well worth it. I've worn it for several conventions and get attacked by picture takers and rabid fangirls every time!

haha if i saw that i would prob be one of those fan girls cause that gir costume is truly amazing
how much did it cost you to get all the stuff?
:iconbrawni:
I didn't keep recipts, but I would have to say less than 75 dollars. the foam was the most expensive part as my green fabric was on clearance.
:iconshortnsilly2795:
ok thanks (: wait could you make one..?? and if so how much would it cost i live in southern cali
